Ok, lets see who reads this blog.
I thought it would be fun to call for memories...Rack your brain and comment on your favorite memory of Erik.
(throwing cars, biting bums, saying "howdy little lady" to Anne, running around in his little speedo ...)
Erik has a countdown in the kitchen of days until he leaves for the MTC. I think he is so excited, but mom is sad. Erik is such a great little brother. I love him tons. I am thankful for this time that we get to be living back at home for a while to be with him before he leaves. Frequently Erik will come up to our attic apartment to just lay on the floor and hang out with us and our little girls. His favorite thing to do to pass the time...watch KUNG FU PANDA!!! yeah.

I remember going to get him the morning after he was born in the nursery and coming back to his mom's room and saying that I did not know where they had put him because I could not find him---I was looking only at the pink tagged babies. It was a "duhhhh moment" it is a boy!
I remember when Erik was born and how I thought he was about the cutest baby boy I had ever seen next to mine. He was such a fun little one. We were lucky and got to live by your family then in Denver. How time flies. What a handsome young man you have become. We sure enjoyed the time we spent with you on the Mediterranean cruise last year. One of the highlights was probably the big Risk game. We all watched as Erik and Ken battled it out. We are excited for you to go on your mission. You will be a great one. Looking forward to your big party in a couple of weeks so we can say farewell.
I remember a card that he made for me when I left for school. It was black and said something about how i shouldn't go! It made me realize how much I love my little bro. We are so proud of you! Nathan can't wait to play with you when you get here!
